U.S.-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership Grantee Concludes Successful Hospital Digitization Project
The $98,750 grant from EAP/MLA enabled local NGO First Womentech Asia to launch hospital management software in 20 private hospitals and clinics in Cambodia’s three Smart Cities (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Battambang). Health in Cities
The U.S.-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership (USASCP) is working with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and our embassies in the region to increase resiliency of local health care infrastructure as part of the U.S.-ASEAN Health Futures initiative. An initial grant will go to Cambodia for medical records digitization in three ASCN cities.
Smart Sustainable Mobility
This project will address the transportation priorities of participating ASEAN smart cities by identifying compelling solutions to urban transportation challenges being implemented by U.S. cities and using their techniques, experiences, and lessons learned to guide ASEAN partners towards implementing similarly effectively solutions within their own cities.
