The U.S.-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, will bring together a delegation of 12 cybersecurity professionals from across Southeast Asia to the San Francisco Bay Area for the Southeast Asia Secure Smart Cities Exchange.  This program will allow cybersecurity experts from ASEAN countries to participate in the RSA Conference (RSAC) to listen to panels discussing critical topics in the cybersecurity industry including building a Zero Trust architecture, cybercrime in the financial industry, risks posed by the advancement of artificial intelligence, emerging legal issues in cybersecurity, and the impact of cyber technology on geopolitics. Delegates will be able to meet and network with U.S. companies in emerging technology who can support the smart city infrastructure in their cities.  This program will facilitate additional public and private sector meetings to connect participants with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) to better understand how U.S. cities manage cybersecurity challenges in municipal government and private companies.
